Solo threads are fun threads to be completed on your own time. You will not be pressured to post in a sequential order, nor will other players be allowed to join the thread (unless you allow them to join, in which you must note your permission specifically).
These threads are closed, and entirely for your own use. They can use any time line you like, from the days of the Old Republic to thousands of years in the future.
These threads are completely separate from the main RP, unless they are used as a character's backstory. You can do almost anything you like on these solo threads, if you are fine with them not being considered 'canon' to the RP.
Requests still must be made for super-weapons and such, but if it will be used in a solo thread, your chances are that it will be approved.
These solo threads are considered "Infinities" which are non-canon Star Wars novels, made entirely for fun.
If you wish the solo thread to be considered a backstory, write an OOC at the top of the opening thread stating the character name and that this will be their backstory.
If you wish it to be considered an "Infinity", post that at the top.
Infinities are fun to write because you can toy the Star Wars Universe however you like! Maybe you want to write a short story from the perspective of a Yuuzhan Vong slave, or tell the story of a Sith Lord turned moisture farmer. It can be a satirical (joke) story, or a serious writing piece.
