Suspecting Kael's path may lead him irretrievably to the Dark Side, the Jedi Council suspended his activities and dispatched Jedi Master Vam Solis to continue the investigation
- Following the death of Master Vam Solis, Kael was reassigned to the task, owing to declining numbers within the Jedi Order, and increased need to balance relations between the Order and the Senate. During this time, Kael crossed paths with another Jedi [I.D removed following death of Senator Henriksen - see classified archive]. It is understood that this Jedi saved Kael's life, though shortly after, all contact was lost with Kael Serasai [122 ABY]

Unlike many of the sages that populate our halls, he is very much in touch with his youth and aware that wisdom does not necessarily entail egotism or mysticism. To be quite honest, he's a breath of fresh air, and reminds me of myself in my maverick youth days. A more forward, hot-tempered version of myself, perhaps.
He's also quite the actor, I can't count how many situations he's been able to bluff his way out of, much to his and our benefit. Perhaps it stems from his experiences on Cerea, where he took their isolationism to heart and drew comparisons with the Order. He always seemed to strive to integrate himself with the 'common' cultures, so to speak. It isn't a necessity, but it won't do him any harm to be able to mingle with a crowd. We Jedi do have a habit of sticking out.
Anyway, I digress, and I'll finish by saying I have little to fear as far as my apprentice's future is concerned".
