Trenton and Roth had just made it to the Royal Bridge, the extension of Theed Palace out over the waterfalls and cliffs, when large chunks of the palace collapsed behind them, cutting them off. Ahead of them was the 100-meter long bridge, at the end a large circular gazebo.
Within the gazebo, seated in a Royal throne, surrounded by a dozen Yuuzhan Vong Warriors, was a very high ranked Yuuzhan Vong. Trenton had no idea who it was, or how highly-ranked he was, but he knew that was the man that was commanding this war.
Roth looked at Trent, as the Jedi Master began to summon The Force around him, a rare display of Trenton's full, uninhibited Force Potency. Roth asked, "Think that's the guy we're here for?"
Trent only nodded, and said, "You should go. Make sure the others are okay. A Jedi will be much better at organizing and aiding others than the rest of the people down there. I'll handle this."
Roth felt a bit left-out, asking, "Are you sure?"
Trent nodded, clasping hands with Roth, as the Yuuzhan Vong Warriors began pacing slowly towards them from the other side of the bridge.
"They're in for the fight of their lives." He said grimly.
Roth furrowed his eyebrows, almost wishing he could remain to witness his friend's awesome power. Instead, he sighed, turned around and vaulted off of the bridge, falling hundreds of meters, before The Force swirled around him, slowing his fall before plummeting into the frigid water of Theed's lakes. He sensed the Masters nearby, and began swimming in their direction.

Commander Bryne'kst saw the twin
Jeedai arrive on the bridge, and smiled curtly. He nodded his head subtly at them, a sign of respect for a fellow warrior. These two were clearly the best of the best, and they deserved his praise. But they did not deserve life.
He stood up calmly, his amphistaff uncurling from around his shoulders and snapping to life in his hand. He waved his Elite Guards forward, and turned to the Villip beside him. The scarred and disfigured face of Warmaster Krilluuk said, "What is it?"
Bryne'kst said slowly, "We will retreat. We were not prepared for the threat the inhabitants of this Galaxy pose. Our resources are not great enough. They have warriors greater than our own." He was ashamed to speak the words, and was careful to add, "Despite the blessings of the Gods."
Krilluuk nodded, and said, "Return to your ship. We shall return to our settlement and begin to grow our forces. But someday, we will return to lay waste to the heretics. This Galaxy has only received a taste of what is to come."
The Villip inverted, and Bryne'kst summoned one of his ships to pick him up.
He would return to his people a shamed one, but he vowed he would return to destroy this galaxy, and all its inhabitants.

Trenton strode calmly towards the Yuuzhan Vong Warriors that approached him. A dozen in number, but all too weak to best him. What they didn't realize, was the narrowness of the bridge was where he had the advantage. Only two or three would be able to engage him at once, all he had to do was force them back enough to use The Force to tear apart the Vong Commander.
He felt The Force flowing through him. He relished it, loved it. The power surging through his veins. No drug would be able to ever emulate the feeling he had now. He didn't care if he was to die here, but he knew he wouldn't. These Vong were weak. He wondered if any mortal would be able to best him when he reached into the Force this deeply.
His body glowed with an inner light, his pupils burning a blinding light. With one hand he gripped his lightsaber, and with a flick of the thumb his emerald blade ignited fiercely. His other hand tore his cloak off violently, casting it into the wind and allowing it to blow off the side of the bridge.
His comlink was beeping like mad on his belt, but he ignored it.
The closest pair of Vong Warriors dashed torwards Trenton, waving and twirling their Amphistaffs about uselessly. Both fell to Trenton's blade before they could finish their flurries. He continued his calm stride towards the Vong Commander, murder in his eyes. The Force filled the air, and Trenton spun wildly as the next Vong Warrior closed in. Trenton's elbow cracked against the jaw of the Vong Warrior, enhanced by the Force, shattering most of the bones in the alien's face. It let out a cry of pain, toppling off the edge of the bridge.
In slow-motion, Trenton impaled one Warrior, his free hand raising and firing a spurt of Force Lightning at another Warrior, who didn't even have a chance to scream before the electric bolts stopped his heart.
Trenton didn't notice the looks of worry beginning to appear on the faces of the remaining Yuuzhan Vong, nor did he spot the fear in the eyes of the distant Yuuzhan Vong Commander.
Trenton was indestructible, invincible, unstoppable. He was a sight that would only inspire fear in those nearby. His determination only surpassed by his deadliness. His heartbeat, sped up by the intense waves of Force Energy passing through him, pumped the midichlorians through his blood stream at an ever faster rate.
He would not be able to remain at this level of Force Immersion for long. As fit as he was, the human body had its limits. Trenton had enough time, however.
He raised a hand, waving it gracefully and in an uncomfortably slow arc, a wave of fierce Force Energy blasted seven Yuuzhan Vong Warriors off the bridge and high into the air, before they plummeted off the side of the bridge. The fall wouldn't kill them. The Force Blast had shattered every bone in their bodies. Even the bricks of the bridge had cracked and shaken from the blast. A final Warrior stood between Trenton and the Vong Commander. Trenton raised an arm, his lightsaber arm dropping, his energy blade dissipating.
In the air above him, black clouds gathered, a foot above his fingertips.
The Warrior stared at the magic, in terror or awe.
The cloud gathered and solidified into a spear, as black as the night itself. The spear floated above Trenton's hand for a moment, then Trent thrust his arm forward, and the spear accelerated at a speed much greater than that of any starfighter. It slammed into the Yuuzhan Vong Warrior with such force that its limbs were torn off instantly. It flew past the Yuuzhan Vong Commander, missing him by inches.
The Yuuzhan Vong Commander was now only thirty meters away from Trenton, who began to let the Force connection break. He felt his power dissipating, but was not as tired as he normally was after such exertion. He had not yet mastered the Force in such a way to remain in such a constant state of Force Immersion, but he was at least able to keep from passing out afterward.
He saw a Vong ship stop on the far side of the gazebo, behind the Vong Commander, who began to back away from Trenton, towards his escape.
Trent smirked, and said, just loudly enough for the Vong Commander to hear, "You cannot win. You may as well run. You will find no victory here. Annihilation is all you will get. In this Galaxy, we are not going to lay down and let you slaughter us. You can try to run, try to regain your forces before attacking again. But you will be stopped, no matter how hard you try. You can bring your entire army, and we will slay them all. I will slay them all. You may have studied us, but one thing you have yet to learn about this Galaxy, is that its people will never stop fighting, never stop battling for our own freedom, until every single one of us is dead."
The Vong Commander jumped backwards onto the open hatch of his organic ship, and smiled. His confidence had returned, now that he was on his own ship. He retorted, in rough basic, "Than we will slaughter every single one of you."
Trent shook his head. And then he flicked his wrist. His lightsaber blasted forwards, igniting in the air as it darted towards the Vong Commander. The Force Throw was not intended to kill, but to send a message. The blade pierced into the shoulder of Commander Bryne'kst, with such force that it slammed him into the inside wall of his ship. He cried out in pain, the blade pinning him to the wall, as the energy blade forced its way deeper into the wall.
Trent released his Force Grip on the blade, allowing it to disengage and fall to the floor, Commander Bryne'kst with it.
He yelled, "Now run, you pitiful coward, and don't come back until you are willing to die for your cause."
The hatchway to Bryne'kst's ship shuddered closed, hiding Commander Bryne from view as he lay on the floor, crippled and broken. Then the ship accelerated into the sky. Trent took a last look around at Theed, and let himself hop off the side of the bridge.
As he fell, he closed his eyes, feeling the Force swirl around him. In that moment, he felt a pulse in the Force, from Ben Joreth. And the boy was in danger.
As Trenton hit the water, slowed by the Force, he wondered if he would ever have a moment of peace.
